Ultimate Staffing is hiring an entry level electrical engineer with max two years experience. The company is growing so there is room for advancement.

Responsibilities:

• Organize design/development of product and packaging specifications
• Manage all aspects of Prime's Product Specifications
• Check the items manufactured by Prime's various vendors
• Maintain knowledge of current regional, national, and international requirements and standards (UL, ETL, etc.)
• Coordinate between Marketing, Purchasing, Quality, and Manufacturing
• Develop product usage instructions and documentation
• Maintain engineering and quality documentation, procedures, drawings, and specifications
• Supervise Design Drafters and other Engineering personnel
• Work conjunction with quality control to ensure products are made in accordance with the specifications and to the safety standards that apply
• Trouble-shoot and diagnose technical problems
• Respond to technical support inquiries

Requirements:

• Minimum four-year college degree in ME, EE, or other engineering disciplines
• Experience with consumer, OEM, and/or industrial wire and cable products
• Experience with UL, CSA, and other approval agencies requirements
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and diagrams
• 2 years minimum experience with 2-D & 3-D CAD programs
  • SolidWorks experience a plus
• 2 years minimum experience with product and packaging design
• 3 years minimum supervisory experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Detail oriented team-player
• Capable of successfully working on multiple projects concurrently while adhering to deadlines and schedules.
