Job Description

Position: Shipping Coordinator
Pay: $18 - $23 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Responsibilities:
The distribution center in Pomona is seeking a clerical professional with a background in shipping.

The role includes:
- Contacting carriers for quotes.
- Creating bills of lading.
- Responding to emails and answering phone calls.
- Communicating with logistics, transportation, and third-party logistics in regions including Nevada, Mississippi, and Mexico.
- Coordinating with suppliers, retailers, customers, and other relevant parties to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Preparing and managing shipping documents, such as invoices and packing lists.
- Overseeing the packing and loading of products to ensure they are properly secured for transport.
- Tracking shipments and resolving any delays or issues that may arise.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and legal guidelines, standards, and regulations in all shipping and transportation processes.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- 3-5 years of shipping experience in a distribution environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and shipping software (UPS/FedEx WorldWide, Transportation Management Systems).
