Position Overview: The Commercial Lines Account Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of commercial lines insurance policies and maintaining great working relationships with multiple insurance carriers. In this role, you will negotiate and secure the most appropriate insurance coverage based upon clients' needs for both new and renewal business. You will also oversee clients' accounts by responding to inquiries, explaining coverages and premiums, informing of policy or billing changes, and facilitating the claims process between clients and the adjuster.
Our newly remodeled office is open Monday through Friday, 9AM-4:30PM EST.
This is a hybrid position based out of our office located in Ronkonkoma, NY.
Professional Responsibilities:
· Markets client's accounts to negotiate and secure the most appropriate insurance coverage based upon clients' needs for both new and renewal business.
· Oversees clients' accounts by responding to inquiries, explaining coverages and premiums, informing of policy or billing changes, and facilitating the claims process between clients and the adjuster.
· Maintains great working relationships with multiple insurance carriers to obtain quotes, binders, endorsements, etc.
· Researches and resolves all moderate and complex customer service problems relating to coverage issues, billing discrepancies, etc. in a timely manner.
· Maintains accurate and up-to-date account and policy information in the Agency Management System, while maintaining a current suspense, reviewing insurance policies and endorsements for accuracy, reviewing contracts and special certificates of insurance requests for compliance and responding to the insured.
· Maintains industry knowledge of developing trends regarding carrier underwriting appetite and pricing changes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
· 5 or more years Commercial Lines Account Management experience
· Active New York Property & Casualty License
· Well organized and detail-oriented
· Quick learner that thrives in a fast-paced environment
· Problem solving and analytical skills, with a solution driven mindset
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
· Proficient with use of Microsoft Office Suite and products
· A passion for being part of a team that drives our company to industry leadership
· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both peers and clients
· Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Pay Range: $70,000 - $80,000 depending on experience
