Facilities Technician
Summary:
Join a dynamic team to keep our building systems, equipment, and outdoor areas in top shape! As a Facilities Technician, you'll handle routine maintenance and repairs, ensuring everything runs smoothly. It's a great role for someone who enjoys a variety of tasks and working both indoors and outdoors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform preventive maintenance on building grounds, HVAC, lighting, plumbing, doors, and more.
* Identify and report any materials or systems needing repair.
* Assemble and install furnishings, and help set up rooms for events (think moving tables, chairs, etc.).
* Collaborate with staff to support scheduled events.
* Occasionally pick up materials from local businesses as needed.
What We're Looking For:
* Handy with tools and equipment for building repair.
* A proactive problem-solver for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building needs.
* Can work independently and manage time effectively, especially in a busy environment.
* Strong customer service mindset with great communication skills.
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office to document maintenance tasks.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent (trade school credentials preferred).
* At least 3 years of facilities or building operations experience.
* A valid driver's license (you may need to travel to other locations or businesses).
Physical Requirements:
This role involves frequent walking, stooping, kneeling, and climbing.
