Job Title: Data Analyst

Overview:
A leading technology-enabled services company is seeking a Data Analyst to support its resolution team. This role involves working with various data sources, including Excel, MS Access, SQL Server, and proprietary applications, to extract, analyze, and format data for internal and external deliverables. The ideal candidate is highly data-oriented, able to handle large data sets, and is a strong communicator in both written and oral formats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extract, manipulate, and analyze case/client data using SQL and Excel for internal and external use.
  • Receive, format, and import client data into custom applications utilizing Excel, SQL, and MS Access.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical analysts, and developers to define specifications and communicate project status.
  • Work with project management and business leads to prioritize and execute workload.
  • Develop automations and job aids to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Create data standards and quality control checklists to ensure data accuracy.
  • Follow all quality control processes and document procedures with expected and actual results.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with SQL Server and Excel.
  • 2+ years of experience in extracting, manipulating, and analyzing data in tabular and relational formats.
  • Strong ability to analyze large datasets with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Effective communication skills, especially in providing status updates to senior management.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering results under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as follow specific directions when required.
  • Strong interpersonal, listening, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or four years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with reporting platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or SSRS.
  • Experience with data integration tools like SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • Familiarity with quality assurance practices in data analysis environments.
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to develop a deep understanding of the business.
