Ultimate Staffing is excited to represent a well-respected property management company in PDX. Our client is growing and looking to add a Maintenance Technician to one of their new properties.

Job Title: Property Maintenance Technician

Location: Happy Valley, OR.

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for performing maintenance work at the company property. The position works as a member of the maintenance team to assure that the physical plant is maintained to company standards. This job description reflects the principal functions, knowledge and skills required. The Maintenance Technician must perform all tasks that management determines are essential to the operation of the company and appropriate for this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Performs maintenance, including basic plumbing repairs, basic electrical repairs, painting, lifting and carpentry. Performs quality work in a timely fashion.Keeps grounds clean and polices grounds for trash. Keeps maintenance areas organized and neat.

JOB DUTIES

    Understands and complies with Fair Housing laws and Oregon Landlord-Tenant laws.Builds positive resident relations. Makes apartment residents feel valued and resolves conflicts calmly while upholding company policy.Manages time appropriately. Schedules and prioritizes tasks.Ability to abide by company policies and take constructive criticism.Performs work at other properties and is flexible to a changing work schedule.Provides after-hours maintenance coverage. Wears and responds to emergency pager.Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance. Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation. Sets goals and creates action plans for continual improvement.Abides by the company dress code.
