Job Description

Established company is seeking a Project Engineer Coordinator on a Direct Hire basis in the greater Pasadena, CA area! Must have experience working within the Construction industry. Pay ranges from $60k-70k DOE.

Responsibilities:

• Review, analyze, and understand project scopes, assisting the team in delivering final project outcomes to clients.
• Help prepare material submittals and monitor the approval process.
• Provide support for ongoing construction management of local projects, including reviewing change orders, responding to RFIs, reviewing schedules, and coordinating with the team.
• Participate in site visits with the project team, including interactions with project owners, brokers, contractors, architects, suppliers, and inspectors.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and complete deliverables within set timelines.
• Obtain and compile quotes from contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, and vendors for labor, materials, and equipment.
• Communicate with clients regarding project requirements, deadlines, and expectations for both potential and active projects.
• Meet with clients to discuss ongoing projects and progress on deliverables.
• Maintain a task list of outstanding work, prioritize tasks, and set a schedule to ensure timely completion.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience: two years experience in a construction-related field and two years of related upper-division college coursework.
• Software: Bluebeam, Adobe & Microsoft Office
• Organized, excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills
• Ability to read plans and specifications
• Detail-oriented and comfortable with a fast-paced schedule
• Reliably commute to job sites/office
