Job Description

The Material Handler/Packager is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, focusing on order fulfillment, inventory management, and shipment preparation. Working under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, this role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow standard procedures, and strong multitasking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy in item selection and quantity using pick lists and barcode scanners.
• Prepare products for shipment, including cold shipments, by selecting appropriate packaging and materials.
• Use FedEx Ship Manager and UPS World Ship to process and prepare boxes for shipment.
• Stock inventory in designated locations using inventory management software (Great Plains) and complete bin transfers as needed.
• Perform inventory inquiries and maintain accurate inventory records using the barcode system.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and solve basic math problems.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptability and flexibility in handling various tasks.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, internet applications, and email.
