Job Title: Senior Accountant
Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and standards while upholding the core values of service, relationships, and character.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation
- Prepare financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local accounting regulations and standards, as well as internal company policies and procedures
- Support the accounting team by providing guidance, sharing expertise, and assisting with the training and development of junior team members
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and information, and implementing any recommended changes or improvements
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Finance, HR, and Operations, to ensure accurate financial reporting and seamless integration of accounting processes
- Contribute to the success of the company by upholding its core values of service, relationships, and character
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, with a CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, and other financial information systems
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Dedication to upholding the company's core values of service, relationships, and character
