Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Technical Sales Manager for one of our clients in St Louis, MO. This position requires experience in the Manufacturing Industry.
This is a full time, direct hire, onsite position.
· Experience in leading a customer representative sales team
· In-depth knowledge of fabricated metal products, tubing, and assembly processes.
· Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business information, customers drawings or sketches, technical procedures and numerical data.
· Successfully created and implemented strategic sales plans, maintained and grew customer relationships, and worked closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and product quality
· Drives Sales Development Strategy by analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities
· Lead, mentor, and develop customer service representatives, setting clear objectives and providing regular performance feedback
· Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers and stakeholders
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities in existing and emerging markets
· Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for senior management.
· Monitor sales metrics and adjust strategies as necessary to achieve sales targets.
· Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitive activities
Qualifications:
This role requires occasional travel to meet with customers, attend industry events, and visit manufacturing facilities.
The work environment is typically an office setting with regular interaction with product managers, materials management, production, quality and engineering teams.
