Office, Administrative, Customer Service, Human Resources, and Manufacturing/Production
This position will assist in the customer relationships and partner with the Sales team to
preserve our current customer base. The Customer Service/Account Manager will assist in building a long-term profitable relationship through opportunities presented, which include generating new orders, providing status of current orders, and generally acting as the communication focal point and a primary voice of the customer within the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partners with the Sales team to ensure customer satisfaction.
Manages the customer delivery scorecard.
Leads problem resolution efforts with customers regarding new orders, order changes,
and order status; responsible for elevating customer concerns when necessary.
Communicate to the Sales Team any opportunities identified as part of the customer
relationship.
Establishes a communication cadence to remain in frequent contact with the customers
to best understand open account actions.
Ensures order and schedule alignment with quoted pricing, including quantity revisions
and delivery reschedule in the system for the benefit of internal and external customers.
Processes order changes, blanket orders, release modification and product specification
communications, completes customer open order reports, initiates P.O. contract review.
Resolves complaints and issues in a timely manner aiming to customer contentment
and the preservation of the Company's reputation.
Effectively partners with various departments and communicates order information to
the appropriate areas.
Manages customer portals and performs customer forecast.
Participate in daily morning Theory of Constraint (TOC) walks through the shop and
daily ship plan meetings to represent the voice of the customer.
Work with other internal departments to resolve accounts receivable issues with
customers.
Receives RFQs and routes to the Pricing function.
Coordinates and participates in annual customer assessments.
All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
3-5 years experience as an Account Manager, or in other sales/customer service role in
manufacturing, preferably in aerospace.
Bachelors degree in business, sales or marketing is a plus.
Ability to work in a team and collaborate to resolve problems effectively.
Thorough knowledge of MS Office; ERP knowledge is required.
