We are seeking a Client Services & Operations Manager for a well-established investment firm in Carlsbad. This person will be supporting, management, clients, and internal staff with the smooth operations of the office.
Strong communication and problem - solving abilities, work with a sense of urgency to all client requests. The ideal candidate will come offer a bachelor's degree preferably in a business, finance, economics, or related experience. 5 years' experience and/or operations in the financial services industry.
Maintain an up-to-date manual of business processes and procedures
Oversight, ownership, and management of all tasks for the firm.
Provide direct support on matters requested by the founder (typically related, but not limited to) scheduling, accounts payable, reporting, hiring, and training as assigned
Assist the firm's Chief Compliance Officer with managing and administering the firm's compliance program.
Execute requisite archiving and review protocols
Fill out Schwab and DFA benchmarking study annually
Attend compliance meetings with Chief Compliance Officer and assist with executing the follow ups
Prepare new hire paperwork and manage the process
Conduct weekly or bi-weekly meetings (30 min) to review goals and accountability with each team member
Master the management and oversight of workflows
Find inefficiencies and areas to improve them
Master the workflow reporting function to find stagnant workflows and bottlenecks
