We are seeking for Document Control/ Engineering Clerk for an Avionics Manufacturer located in Orlando, FL 32824
Shift- Monday through Friday
8AM-4:30PM
Pay rate- $17-21/HR base on experience
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Directly support the Production, Program Management, and Quality departments as a representative of the Engineering department.
- Involvement with Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) Advanced Drawing Change Notice (ADCN) including revisions and corrections to redline drawing reviews.
- Incorporate ECOs and redline changes when directed to do so by the Engineering Manager.
- Research and assemble a variety of engineering data, forms or spreadsheets from existing data, manuals, reports, etc. based upon instructions from the Engineering Manager or engineer.
- May assist engineers with design, layout and schematic diagrams when necessary to construct non-complex electronic test fixtures or models of electronic equipment.
- May assist with evaluation of basic equipment operational characteristics.
- Assist in designs by compiling data related to the design specifications, and materials that pertain to specific items of a piece of equipment or component. Utilizing basic AutoCAD 2D skills, technician may assist engineering with drafting, evaluation and or completion of existing drafts.
- Create new documents and drawings under the direct supervision of the Engineering Manager.
- Update Bill of Materials (BOM) as required to maintain an accurate list of required parts.
- Plan and create reports, kit lists and associated support documentation for new projects or products.
- Track and report engineering document revisions and required changes.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to Manager and / or Human Resources.
- Develop a strong understanding of Company policies and procedures
- Involvement in the research and assembly of data for projects.
- Involvement in responsibilities and requirements of Configuration Management.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and Company goals.
- Other duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager.
