Job Description

This is a temporary position while an employee is on family leave. We are need of a Temporary Receptionist for a Dr office in Newport Beach.  This is an IN OFFICE, ON SITE role.  It requires a high level of customer service with the patients, physician, and other staff members. 

Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer all incoming calls
Meet/greet patients upon arrival
Verify insurance
Schedule patient procedures in an efficient and accurate manner.
Obtains insurance authorization if needed.
Accurately enters data into software system to ensure proper billing of insurance cases.
Extremely organized individual with drive to learn.

Computer skills are necessary. Previous experience with medical software is a plus.  Requires knowledge or EMR.  NEXTGEN would be a plus
A strong background in medical terminology. Must demonstrate excellent phone etiquette, and customer service skills.
