Job Description
Ultimate Staffing is looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager for an internationally recognized global products company with multiple offices, 300+ employees, and successful sales in over 100 countries.
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing clients within the assigned region to maximize sales growth and increase representation in the New England Territory covering CT, ME, MA, NY, NJ, VT, NH, and RI. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, at least 5 years trade experience, strong consumer sales management experience (presenting, selling, management, reporting), ability to pull an equipment trailer for demos, excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills and familiarity with Salesforce or equivalent CRM software.
Salary: $70K base + Uncapped OTE
General Hours: : 8am-5pm (Mon-Fri)
Location: NH or MA
Responsibilities
- Profitably grow assigned region to meet or exceed regional sales goals and targets
- Provide distributor support in the areas of profitability, agreement comprehension & compliance, feedback on current sales trends, and strategic business planning
- Effectively communicate various brand, marketing and advertising programs
- Assist with training, product demonstrations, advertising campaigns, and other business enhancements
- Manage regional training for distributors: identifying various training needs, determining best location for optimal attendance, and facilitating the training sessions to participants
- Plan seminar events, prepare product orders, and provide needed assistance
- Attend industry shows and events for optimal product exposure
- Maintain regional expense and promotional budgets
- Assist in collection of accounts receivable
- Report market trends, competitive information, and sales/product opportunities
- Provide sound business proposals to meet or exceed current competitor activity
- Complete administrative functions such as: monthly newsletter, monthly retailer paperwork, correspondence, schedules, itineraries, call reports, etc.
Qualifications:- Approximately able to travel 50%-75% within assigned territory
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Strong consumer sales management experience (presenting, selling, management, reporting)
- Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skill
- Familiarity with Sales force or equivalent CRM software
- Proficient understanding of MS Office applications
- Strong persuasive skills with the ability to positively influence and motivate others
- Advanced organizational skills
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:- Working conditions for this role will vary between locations, seminars/exhibits, office environments, and other public events that will often be loud, busy and distracting
- Approximately 50% - 75% travel required
- Ability to stand, walk for extended periods, kneel, bend, lift up to 80lbs, use of hands and fingers to manipulate various machines required
