Ultimate Staffing is seeking an experienced HR and Safety Manager for a direct hire position in Rockville MD. This is a full time role with a salary starting at $75k. This position is fully in office.


Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
 

• Coordinating recruitment, screening and placement of new employees.
• Providing orientation and on-boarding of new Employees.
• Coordinate and participate in regular employee inspections and reviews.
• Overseeing the training of new employees.
• Provide an open line of communication with employees.
• Maintaining Employee records for the Company.
• Coordinating regulatory compliance.
• Assist in investigating accidents and safety issues
• Managing continuing education programs emphasizing the importance of safety

Requirements:
 

• Bachelor's degree preferred, not required
• SHRM-CP or PHR certifcation, a plus
• 3+ years experince in HR management; must have managed staff previously
• Ability to collaborate with various levels of management, staff, and consumers.
• Strong computer skills, efficient in payroll systems along with HRIS systems, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must have a working knowledge of labor and employment laws, as well as OSHA and other safety requirements
• Some travel to other sites, as needed
