Our client is seeking a Varian/Aria Oncology System Analyst to support physicians and clinicians to improve their experience in the effective use and optimization of electronic applications.

Employment Type
: 15+ month, Contract, W-2
 Location : Remote, travel to Jupiter, FL will be required (at Company expense)
Pay: $50/hr - $58/hr

Top Skills Required:

  • Management of incoming customer support requests regarding Varian's Oncology products.
  • Build note templates, questionnaires, and orders in Varian MO.
  • Maintain user list in Varian Service Portal and Data Administration.
  • Troubleshoot technical tickets regarding scanning, printing, and monitor interface messages and open tickets as needed with Varian support.
  • Looking for Aria Medical Oncology NOT Radiation Oncology
  • Strong EHR system build knowledge, workflow analysis, and analytical/problem solving skills to improve and optimize the Oncology EHR. 
  • Understand how to perform current state and future state assessments as it relates to clinical workflow within the Oncology system.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development of best practices workflow.
  • Provide support to leadership, management and clinical staff by helping to resolve issues with the Varian/Aria Oncology platform, as well as integrated systems.
  • Participate in design, testing build changes, and upgrades including chemotherapy protocols.
  • Coordinate and assist with the implementation of technology projects including modification of existing applications or installation of new applications in Varian/Aria Oncology to address clinical needs as identified.
  • Support, analyze and monitor Varian/Aria Oncology processes pertaining to clinical and billing functions, report generation, and data extraction for all clinics
  • Coordinates/performs comprehensive testing of all patches and new releases
  • Monitors support tickets with Varian/Aria Oncology and serves as primary point of contact for all IT issues and requests relating to the EMR and clinic peripheral systems
  • From a senior perspective, identifies and plans for current and future customer requirements.
  • Designs, develops, tests and documents complex custom application software or directs these activities when necessary.
  • Demonstrates expert analytical skills and clinical and business knowledge. Analyzes complex business and technical problems.
  • Pro-actively reviews, recommends and implements data security, integrity, backup and recovery procedures for entire systems
  • Independently designs, develops, enhances, and tests complete systems of complex Information Technology systems using various tools in support of business and clinical operations
  • Takes initiative and exercises independent judgment to resolve urgent problems.
  • Acts with broad authority when necessary to resolve emergencies.
