Our client in Aerospace is looking for a Discipline Manager- Project. This ia a Full-Time onsite position in Jupiter, FL.

 POSITION PURPOSE
* Expert in Aero Engine product engineering and to provide support & guidance in Project Engineering task execution to the engineers
* Discipline Reviews to ensure high quality of delivery
* Proficiency enhancement programs and periodically conduct Discipline Health Reviews.
* To create and revise Standard Works and procedures

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
Primary activities including but not limited to the following:
* Create and manage OEM product level projects & schedules
* Provide schedules as part of engineering gate reviews across project life cycle
* Revise scheduling and planning as needed to accommodate program changes
* Regularly attend meetings with Product Team leads and Component Team Leads leads to provide status, progress and completion report
* Drive deliverables towards completion to ensure on-time delivery
* Facilitate the ordering of hardware for various engine builds or tests
* Facilitate the shipping of hardware for various engine builds or tests
* Own export shipment plan and execution including all export paperwork
* Work closely with vendors to monitor hardware movement
* Facilitate in completing class I engineering changes
* Execute Product Lifecycle workflow for engineering changes
* Track the completion of action items and work with Team leads and designers to submit completed action items

Qualification:
Master's Degree in Engineering from a reputed institute or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience

Work Experience and Essential Skills:

  • 15+ years of related work experience, including 5+ years of experience working in aerospace sector (aero engine experience)
  • An expert in project engineering and project execution
  • Reading technical prints, Teamcenter, follow Standard Works and produce Standard works for task execution
  • Must have a well-rounded view on issues surrounding innovation, technologies, retail, production, and mobility services throughout the world and can propose solutions for local as well as global automotive markets.
  • All-round knowledge of various technologies associated with Aerospace industry is the key
  • Demonstrated development of a professional network and experience with handling aerospace clientsProven skills and the ability to proactively support/counsel key client relationship
