DEPARTMENT ASSISTANT
- Communicate via phone and email with vendors, brokers and customers
- Quick learner, adept to change needs, team oriented, personable, reliable
- Process documents for various departments, update inventory, heavy data entry
- Assist all departments with various projects
- Filing, ship samples to customers
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite
- multi task and keep track of all tasks
- time management
- recognize when you won't be able to complete tasks in the necessary time frame and immediately notify your trainer - we will absolutely support you but can't if you don't let us know
- receive tasks from multiple departments and communicate with them regarding deadlines and level of importance - they don't know what all you have on your plate so you have to communicate with them to help them prioritize for you and get someone to help you if needed
- ability to organize and take notes on large amounts of information
