Job Description
We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Health & Safety Supervisor. You will play a crucial role in developing corporate safety and health programs, coordinating safety training initiatives, and ensuring compliance with federal and state safety and health regulations. The opportunity is offered as a HYBRID role in Fountain Valley, CA.
Up to $50/hr
- Assist in managing the Company Safety Rewards Program.
- Maintain Division accident and injury files.
- Assist with monthly employee safety meetings and serve as a member of all corporate safety committees.
- Monitor the tracking system for accidents/injuries.
- Benchmark best/most effective safety processes/procedures/programs to improve overall safety.
- Handle safety audits, make recommendations for improvement, and ensure their implementation.
- Conduct training for facility managers and supervisors on safety-related topics.
- Support warehouse personnel in selecting appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain and update the Company's Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).
- Review and update written OSHA compliance programs and maintain the Division OSHA 300 log.
- Track identified issues through the facility inspection process.
Education Requirements:- Bachelor's Degree in HR or equivalent; a combination of work experience and education will be considered.
- PHR or SHRM Certification is a plus.
Experience Requirements:- 4-6 years of progressive experience in HR, with a focus on Workers Compensation and Safety.
- Experience in job analysis, Workers Comp & Safety, Employee Relations, and HR consulting.
- MS Office (MS Excel - expert level)
