A family-owned HVAC company is adding a new Maintenance Technician to its team. This is an opportunity to join an extremely supportive team with a values-driven company that truly cares about its employees and their families (100% covered healthcare for employee + family, 401k, catered meals, all-hands atmosphere, etc.), and they're looking for a new team member who is coachable, dedicated to learning and improving, and interested in pursuing a long-standing career in the industry. The Maintenance Technician in this position repairs and maintains all machinery/equipment in good working order 50% of the time and will perform skilled production work 50%.

 
HVAC experience is NOT required. Arlington, WA 98223 (on-site)
Mon-Fri: 4:30am - 2pm PT
$24-30/hr (DOE)


Maintenance Technician Job Duties and Responsibilities
 

  • Creates and performs preventative maintenance schedules for the cleaning, lubrication, and replacement of parts for machinery/equipment
  • Maintains manuals and schematics for machinery/equipment
  • Maintains solvent and machine parts wash stations
  • Minor Repairs and maintenance of forklifts
  • Performs electrical/mechanical troubleshooting techniques for proper diagnosis of machinery/equipment
  • Calibrates sensors and controls on machinery/equipment
  • Dismantles and/or crates existing machinery/equipment for sale or to make room for new machinery/equipment
  • Continually conducts performance checks on machinery/equipment
  • Installs electrical panels, conduit runs, fuse boxes, limit switches, photo eyes, cameras, sensors and/or any other equipment as necessary
  • Installs safety devices on machinery/equipment or anywhere necessary
Maintenance Technician Job Skills and Requirements
 
  • A team-focused attitude that is both teachable and willing to take initiative
  • Patience and self-control with employees, clients and the public-at-large
  • Personable, enthusiastic, and committed to the mission and values of Omniduct
  • High School diploma or equivalent education is desired
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Maintains a valid driver's license, insurable on company motor vehicle insurance
  • Ability to recognize and maintain confidentiality of information as appropriate
  • Ability to meet defined deadlines
  • Strong organization skills in a multi-tasked environment, detail-oriented, problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Windows Suite, Internet and email use
