Job Description
Currently seeking an Operations Manager for a food manufacturing company located in Compton. The operation manager will be supporting all aspects of operations, including safety, food safety, and quality.

Salary: $75k to $80k DOE
Responsibilities:
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
- Communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions
- Oversee Quality Control and Inventory Control depts.
- Manage all trainings to production, quality control and sanitation personnel.
- Interacting with 3rd party Food Safety and SQF Audit personnel.
- Manage staff levels, wages, hours, contract labor to revenues
- Ensure all schedules are followed as planned.
- Collaborate with supervisors, operators, and production personnel to reduce downtime.
- Implement KPIs to ensure smooth production flow.
- Handle all hiring, coaching, trainings, guidance and performance enhancements.
- Communicate with legal counsel and safety department to ensure all processes remain compliant with OSHA health and safety regulations and other governmental regulations
- Achieve prodcution rates, year on year cost improvements, and budgets.
- Ensure proper raw materials inventories.
Requirements:
- 4-5 years experience as an Operation Manager
- Degree preferred.
- Food Manufacturing/Production a must.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Planning and organizational skills.
- Budget, project and operations management.
