Job Summary
This position supports the efforts of our client, which handles Life Insurance and Annuities.  The Client Services Admin Support is an entry-level customer support position providing basic administrative processing of customer requests.

Essential Functions
* Serves as primary backup to Client Service Representatives
* Provides policy information through correspondence to internal and external customers
* Handles all client service complex correspondence specific to consumer/company complaints
* Researches correspondence with regard to complaints, performs extensive auditing of all materials, policy change forms, agent handling, etc.
* Handles Not Taken requests and refunds
* Orders replacement letters and statements as needed
* Orders forms and policy information and mails to policyholders
* Processes outgoing faxes
* Distributes: Automatic status, automatic letters and reports. Message Center calls.
* Mails: Annuity maturity letters, IVR and Option Annuity statements, ANNV quotes and letters, Requests for annuity cost basis, and Policy information requests.
* Processes cost basis work type through AWD
* Records cost basis on computer
* Maintains 86-88 account balance amounts
* Transcribes messages on message drop phone system
* Processes simple Beneficiary changes

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
* Strong organizational skills
* Demonstrated skill and ability in dealing with the public
* Knowledge and skill at applying customer service theories and practices
* Strong written and oral communication skills necessary
* Basic Computer skills.10-Key by touch or sight.

Education & Experience
* High school or GED required
* Prior insurance industry experience preferred.

Licenses & Certifications
* None required
* Completion of LOMA insurance courses I and II required within first year of employment.
Supervision & Leadership
* No Supervision responsibilities

Work Environment
* This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
* Regular and predictable attendance is required. Overtime may be required at peak times.
* The employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
