Job Summary:
The Proposal Manager is responsible for managing the proposal development process from start to finish. This role includes coordinating with various departments, creating high-quality proposals, and ensuring timely submission to secure new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Proposal Development: Lead and manage the entire proposal development process.
Team Coordination: Work with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information.
Content Creation: Write, edit, and format proposal content.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all proposals meet company standards and client requirements.
Deadline Management: Track and manage proposal deadlines.
Review and Submission: Coordinate reviews, approvals, and submission of final proposals.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years in proposal management, preferably within an engineering firm.
Skills:
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification: APMP (Association of Proposal Management Professionals) certification.
Experience: Previous experience in engineering or construction industry.
Key Competencies:
Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy and completeness of proposals.
Analytical Skills: Assess RFP requirements and develop appropriate strategies.
Interpersonal Skills: Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and clients.
Organizational Skills: Efficiently manage resources and time.
