Office, Administrative, Customer Service, Human Resources, and Manufacturing/Production
HR Generalist needed for confidential client near Jessup, Maryland.
This is a direct hire role that is 100% on location.
Responsibilities:
Track and document compliance with mandatory training and continuing education.
Meet with department managers to understand skills and competencies required for future open positions.
Full cycle recruitment including posting on job boards, reviewing applicants, conducting phone screenings, scheduling interviews, conducting background checks, and presenting offer letters.
Conduct new hire orientation.
Assist in the implementation of a new employee recognition program.
Handles employment related inquiries from employees and managers.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Conducts disciplinary meetings, exit interviews, and terminations.
Meet with brokers to update benefits plans.
Assists in annual open enrollment.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources or Business Administration and/ or SHRM certification is highly preferred.
Must have at least 3 years experience in Human Resources and Recruiting
