Job Summary

Our client is looking for a qualified, motivated individual to join our commercial insurance firm as an Commercial Lines Account Specialist. As part of our team, you will work with commercial and business clients to determine their insurance needs. Whether it's a small business with modest needs or a national organization with major assets, we work to provide the best possible coverage at the lowest possible cost. This is a relationship-focused position, meaning that our ideal candidate must have superb communication and interpersonal skills, in addition to valid state licensure and a minimum of three years of experience in the insurance industry.  220 or 440 license required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Help clients understand and determine their individual commercial line service needs
• Oversee and manage client business, including policy changes, applications, Accord Forms, Supplementals, CRM entry and claims
• Ensure maximum client retention and generation through relationship building
• Market new service offerings
• Other duties as required

Requirements and Qualifications

• At least three years-experience in the insurance industry, especially within commercial insurance or property & casualty insurance.
• Account management experience (preferred)
• Valid state Property and Casualty License- 220 or 440
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, Powerpoint, and Excel, as well as standard CRM Software.  HawkSoft experience a plus as we use HawkSoft.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Works well with others, we are a small business with a large footprint and work together like family.
