Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Planner/Programmer for a contract manufacturing company in Santa Ana. Experience with sheet metal and/or metal fabrication required. This role will collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, and managers, and other outside sources to maintain and status execution of projects.

On-site M-F 7 AM - 4 PM

Pay: $65K

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Experience in all aspects of Precision Sheet Metal & the ability to read & understand 2D drawings and BOM'S
• Shop experience, i.e. NC Punch, Laser, Brake Press
• Excellent computer skills, Windows, Word, Excel
• Job/Work order planning experience
• Strong interpersonal skills to enable accomplishment of tasks through others
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Detail oriented, data-driven
• Familiar with standard manufacturing concepts, practices, and manufacturing procedures.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
• Works under general supervision

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Associate's Degree or equivalent from two years college or technical school
• 5 years extensive experience with Metalsoft Fabriwin/AP 100
• 5 years' experience in Precision Sheet Metal Fabrication.
• Related experience and/or training will be considered in conjunction with the noted combination of education and experience herein.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel & Solidworks a strong plus.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing
• Ability to choose the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem
