Ultimate Staffing is seeking an experienced HRIS Manager for one of our Bolingbrook, IL clients.

The HRIS (Human Resources Information System) Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's HRIS. This role involves ensuring data integrity, analyzing HR data, generating reports, and supporting HR processes through the efficient use of HR technology. The HRIS Manager will work closely with the HR team and other departments to optimize HRIS functionality and streamline HR operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. HRIS Management:
  • Maintain and update the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Configure the HRIS to meet the needs of HR and other departments.
  • Manage user access and security within the HRIS.
  1. Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Generate and analyze reports from the HRIS to support HR decision-making.
  • Identify trends and provide insights from HR data.
  • Develop custom reports and dashboards as needed.
  1. Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through the use of technology.
  • Collaborate with HR and IT to implement system enhancements and updates.
  • Provide training and support to HR staff and other users on HRIS functionalities.
  1. Compliance and Documentation:
  • Ensure HRIS practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain documentation of HRIS processes and procedures.
  • Assist in audits and ensure data accuracy for compliance reporting.
  1. System Implementation and Integration:
  • Participate in the implementation of new HR systems or modules.
  • Assist in the integration of HRIS with other business systems.
  • Test system changes and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to HR operations.
  1. Customer Service and Support:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries and issues.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot HRIS-related problems.
  • Work with vendors and IT to resolve system issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in HRIS administration
  • Proficiency with HRIS software (e.g., Workday, ADP, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with data reporting and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) is a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with standard office hours.
  • Occasional travel may be required for training or system implementation.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle sensitive information confidentially.
