Job Description

We have two openings for experienced Project Coordinator's in the Steel Fabrication industry available.

Entry Level Project Coordinator 3+ years of experience in Steel Manufacturing $60,000-$70,000

Experienced Project Coordinator 5+ years of experience in Steel Manufacturing $70,000-$80,000

This position will take place in a high energy and industrial work environment. A qualified candidate must have experience with structural steel components in fabrication and installation. The ideal candidate is a self-starter that can work independently while being responsible for coordinating and overseeing the manufacturing process of steel products and systems from start to finish. You will coordinate with the production manager and prep materials, labor, and customer specifications for projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage daily shop operations, including workflow, materials, and equipment
• Plan, schedule, and oversee projects
• Coordinate with other departments, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project specifications and requirements are met
• Identify and correct problems and inefficiencies in process, materials, equipment, etc.
• Prepare material and labor takeoffs
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Must have Steel Manufacturing experience
• Must be able to read blueprints and drawings
• Strong mathematical skills
• Knowledge of cutting, bending, and welding of steel
• Auto CAD is a plus
• Must have strong communication skills
