Medical Answering Service Operator $20-$22 Temp-To-Hire Boston MA

Shifts Available:

• Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday: 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tuesday - Saturday: 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM

Training: A mandatory 2-3-week training period will be held on-site from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Answer main hospital lines and direct callers to the correct departments and staff.
• Contact on-call physicians for emergency calls.
• Take messages for office staff when they are unavailable.
• Contact on-call staff for urgent situations.
• Process emergency code calls (e.g., code blue, code red).

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a medical environment (e.g., hospital operator, doctor's office) is required.
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and a stable work history are essential.
• Must be able to commit to the scheduled shifts and training period.
