What You'll Do:

  • Use your skills with hand tools, customized tooling, and semi-automated equipment to assemble and process products, parts, and assemblies.
  • Follow written process/assembly documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Inspect and test parts, assemblies, and products using precision measuring and testing equipment.
  • Make necessary adjustments within defined ranges based on measured results to maintain product quality.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Keep your work area clean and organized.
  • Share your knowledge by training other production operators on job skills and process documentation.
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance and assist in troubleshooting or preparing standard production equipment for maintenance.
  • Help maintain and update production/process instructions.
  • Gather and input production/process data.
  • Ensure the smooth supply and flow of materials through the area.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proficient in multiple production skill areas and works effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Strong team skills and facilitation abilities.
  • Understanding of material logistics and various business systems/concepts like Demand Flow, Statistical Process Control, and Six Sigma methods.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in business tools such as E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product is a plus.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of related experience.
  • Ability to stand the duration of the shift
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. More lifting and amount of weight may be required depending on the work area
