Job Description

Machinist (CNC) DIRECT HIRE $25.00-$45.00 Ashland, MA

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

• Operate production machine after direction from CNC Program Operator.
• Perform machining operations as directed
• Inspect parts to ensure quality as directed.
• Monitor cycle times.
• Inform the CNC Program Operator of any discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Machine Operator.
• Proficiency in basic math and ability to calculate dimensions and tolerances.
• Experience with measuring instruments such as micrometers and vernier calipers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
• Excellent operation monitoring skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn all facets of product manufacture.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
