QA Specialist Position:
You will perform compliance review of production records and equipment documentation for our solders paste products. Additionally, you will support the team with routine in-phase inspections during product manufacturing. You will be responsible for authoring, reviewing and revising relevant documentation, performing quality reviews, conducting review of production records, conducting investigations, and assisting in hosting audits. As a result of your ability to support the daily Quality Assurance activities related to  manufacturing for lead-free solder products, you will support the continued success of the organization as a whole.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Analyze internal business systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards.
  • Reviews and provides guidance for various non-conforming situations and investigation activities, evaluates root cause and corrective actions, and ensures documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Reviews Quality System documentation, including Production and shipping records, Investigation Reports (IRs), System Maintenance records or correction records.
  • Performs reviews of product quality and integrity in compliance with Quality System regulations.
  • Reviews and authors internal work instruction manuals.
  • Participates and assists in audit by customers as well as audit of suppliers.
  • Provides guidance for investigations of discrepancies or failures related to manufacturing and control systems
  • Reviews/approves documentation and implement changes in workflows.
  • Ensuring that products adhere to quality standards
  • Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data
  • Works according to deadlines for the delivery of products
  • Delivers and documents staff training, and directs production line staff in production practices and manages quality assessment of products
  • Tracking products through the manufacturing process to guarantee that each part of the process is correct
  • Performing detailed and recorded inspections of final products so the products are up to industry and company standards
  • Eliminating products that are not up to standards and finding the reasons for product problems
  • Familiarity with quality standards and processes to follow federal, state and local regulations
  • B.S. degree in a business related discipline OR 3 years' direct QA experience related to solder manufacturing in the semiconductor industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Direct experience in customer or supplier audits meeting specific standards, i.e., ISO9000, 14000, IATF16949, or Intel Corp's SCQI (Supplier Continuous Improvement Award).
  • Strong knowledge of the standards of the RBA, IATF and ISO.
  • Communication skills to convey information in reports, meetings and status reports
  • Knowledge of the product to perform accurate quality control
  • Attention to detail 
  • Analysis, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to review systems, find flaws and pose solutions to those flaws
  • Ability to handle stress
  • Ability to operate under tight deadlines while still meeting st
