Job Description

We are seeking an Electronics Technician to join a client in Newark. This can be a temp-to-hire role. Hours for the position are Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 5:30 pm (8 1/2 hour shift) and Fridays 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.

Job Duties:

• Testing high power amplifiers and other high voltage/high power devices.
• Troubleshoot technical problems in coordination with our engineering staff
• Manage workload to meet a testing schedule for product line.
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic systems and/or sub-assemblies.

Requirements:

*Proficient with multi-meters, high voltage power supplies, oscilloscopes, pulse generators and variacs.

*Proficient in troubleshooting and problem solving.

*Analyze, test and repair electronic hardware using electrical schematics.

*Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

*Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.

Additional Skills:

*RF test experience.

*Proficient in use of spectrum analyzer and vector network analyzer.

*Familiarity with AGILE or an equivalent product lifecycle management (PLM) system.
