Job Duties/Description:

  • Serve as the go to for putting together quotes and order processing.
  • Provide details on warranty policies and processing returns.
  • Handle a large volume of incoming calls, emails and web chat interactions.
  • Identify and predict needs of customers and communicate solutions.
  • Clearly communicate products and services in terms the customer will understand, while taking into account regional and industry terminology.
  • Communicate with internal departments and co-workers to ensure everyone is on the same page regarding back orders, material count, etc.
  • Negotiate pricing to secure business while balancing the long-term relationship of each customer.
  • Assist other departments during slow periods, including Marketing, Production and Human Resources.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of sales support or customer service experience - manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt to regional and industry terms.
  • Proficient time management and prioritization skills.
  • Able to receive feedback from management and also work well as a team.

Additional Info:

  • Pay: $50K-$60K depending on experience level
  • Schedule: 8 AM-5 PM M-F November-April M-F, and 7 AM-5 PM May-October (busy season OT required 45 hours/wk)
  • Location: In office 100%
  • Type: Direct Hire
