Customer Care Assistant Manager Location: Carlsbad, CA Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm Pay: $24/hr
A leading Medical Supplies company in Carlsbad is seeking a Customer Care Assistant Manager to join their team. Our highly trained staff and proprietary technology ensures Customer satisfaction with every shipment. Our Customer Care Assistant Manager(s) will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functions of certain segments of our Customer Care team and any other tasks as assigned. Reporting to their Customer Care Manager and Chief of Operations; serving as a member of the Customer Care Management Team along with the Customer Care Senior Specialists, this position's primary responsibility is ensuring organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for the organization's service-related functions. Working with the management team, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies, and practices. Job Duties:
Improve the operational processes and policies in support of the organization's objective - specifically support better management reporting, information flow, personnel management, business process development and implementation and organization planning.
Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of service processes through development of personal, improvements to functions and processes as well as coordination and communication between other departments and their objectives.
Play a significant role in long-term planning, focusing on our overall initiative geared toward operational excellence.
Contribute to overall departmental planning, processes, systems, and controls where training and effective reporting are concerned.
Participate in meetings with Chief of Operations around operational and excellence planning.
Assists Customer Care managers with supervising teammates and providing regular coaching clinics and training session for teammates
Preparing and conducting annual performance reviews assigned teammates
Attends all department, team, and weekly company meetings as required
Perform any additional responsibilities or special projects as required
Increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Customer Care Services through improvements to each function, (Patient Interaction, Timeliness, and Accuracy) as well as coordination and communication between functions.
Drive initiatives on the Senior Customer Care team and organizationally that contribute to long-term operational excellence.
Duties and responsibilities may be subject to change based upon the needs of the department
Day to Day:
Oversee monthly and quarterly departmental and organizational goals.
Manage day to day service and goal expectations, producing reporting as needed.
Assist Chief of Operations in creating monthly, quarterly, and annual organizational goals.
Maintain documented and clean archival processes and administrative files.
Ensure that service concerns, personnel training, and outside departmental requests are resolved and communicated in a timely manner to internal and external customers.
High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred

Strong and successful background in Customer Care
Typing accuracy of 35 wpm minimum
Excellent Computer skills and proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills: both verbal and written
Knowledge, experience and/or a willingness and commitment to organizational effectiveness, operations management, and implementing best practices.
Demonstrate commitment to high professional ethical standards
