Job Description
Established non-profit organization is hiring for a Director of Development on a direct hire basis! Pay ranges $95k-135k.
Responsibilities:
- Report to the Executive Director and play a crucial leadership role in fostering a culture of generosity among the organization's diverse constituencies.
- Communicate a compelling case for supporting the organization to current and prospective donors, and the wider community.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and the Board Development Committee to develop and implement fundraising and planned giving strategies.
- Oversee all components of a dynamic development program, including:
- Annual giving campaign
- Major gift prospecting, stewardship, and fundraising
- Planned giving
- Special events
- Additional fundraising programs
- Lead and manage all fundraising administration tasks, including:
- Financial reporting and analysis
- Systems management
- Compliance
- Serve as the primary liaison with the Board Development Committee, working closely with the Board Chair, the Development Committee Chair, and the Executive Director to ensure a successful development program with measurable fundraising outcomes.
- Supervise the Senior Associate Director of Development, a grant writer, and a data entry professional.

- Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively and strategically.

- Devote time, energy, and commitment to creating an exceptional development program, ensuring ongoing financial support for the organization
