Job Description

We are currently seeking a Project Manager for a large manufacturing company located near the LAX area. This manager will be responsible for managing the expansion, capital investment and other plant improvement projects, ensuring all completions and forecasting in a timely manner.


  • Develop construction projects in collaboration with architect, engineers and trade workers
  • Plan and implement improvement projects on production processes
  • Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach best price agreements
  • Assist contractors with obtaining permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
  • Acquire equipment's and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
  • coordinate, plan, and manger scheduled for contractors and subcontractors
  • Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines are met
  • Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
  • Compile and plan budget, cost estimate and other financial estimates
  • Provide internal reporting and projections for inventory
  • Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guideline and local and state regulations are met
  • Able to manage team of employees and multiple projects
  • Experienced at compiling and following strict budgets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized and able to create multiple timelines, budgets, and schedules
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal building code regulations
  • Able to build solid relationships with team members, vendors, and customers
  • Three to Five years' experience as a project manager or in a similar position for improving production processes.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail
  • Goal-oriented and organized leadership
  • Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
  • In-depth understanding of the construction industry
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office; Microsoft Project and experience with Project Management software preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Master's preferred but not required
