Position Summary:

Expand and maintain relationships with credit union members by opening new accounts and providing phone support.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

Under direct supervision, you will:

Support:

  • Handle incoming support calls from members and employees.

Account Management:

  • Open and maintain new accounts.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews on accounts.

IRA and Deceased Member Transactions:

  • Assist with IRA paperwork and deceased member transactions.

Member Education and Sales:

  • Educate members on credit union products and services.
  • Cross-sell products and services to meet members' financial needs.

Collaboration and Professionalism:

  • Work with colleagues across departments and branches to provide efficient service.
  • Foster positive relationships internally and externally.

Product and Service Knowledge:

  • Understand credit union products and services.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and promotions.

Other Duties:

  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Position Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education:
    • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
