Ultimate Staffing is working with a company in the St. Louis Metro East area in the search for a Quality Assurance leader to oversee their QA team and implement ISO 13485.

Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Location: St. Clair County, IL

Status: Direct Hire

Schedule: Mon - Fri, Days

Compensation: $80,000- $100,000, negotiable based on experience

The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager will lead the quality assurance department and team, developing, implementing, and upholding a comprehensive system for testing the organization's products and/or development processes to ensure quality and reliability.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Recruits and trains quality assurance personnel.
• Manages departmental workflow and schedules.
• Conducts timely and constructive performance evaluations.
• Administers discipline and termination following company guidelines.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Establishes and oversees processes to ensure products meet required quality, function, and reliability standards.
• Sets quality standards and communicates them to the QA and product development teams.
• Coordinates product testing and provides guidance accordingly.
• Participates in testing processes and resolves recurring issues.
• Reviews feedback from clients, customers, and users.
• Ensures compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Performs other assigned duties.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (not required but preferred)
• 3-5 years of relevant experience, including supervisory roles.
• ISO 13485 knowledge and experience is a must.
