Ultimate Staffing is partnered with a leading Fresno employer to find a Materials Planner to join their team. The MRP Planner will be responsible for managing the stock levels of ingredients, packaging, and other various items in bill of materials as well as indirect items to support the demand/production schedule. If you have experience working in a food manufacturing environment with procurement and enjoy making an impact on an organization's efficiency, this could be the right position for YOU!
This is a Full-Time Direct Hire opportunity paying $62,000 to $65,000 annual salary and employer paid benefits.
Responsibilities include the following
Manage inventory levels to mitigate excess and obsolete as well as keeping aged inventory Responsible for maintaining high accuracy and data integrity on purchase orders (item, price, date, Qty)
Responsible for creating optimal stock
Responsible for the managing open purchase order supply, sending suppliers weekly open order reports to manage supply and on time materials
Manage contract manufacturing supply to ensure materials align and support the schedule
Will cross train with production scheduling
Develops, maintains, and reports department KPI's
Ability to trace back in ERP system materials
Must be able to investigate, analyze, root cause and provide solutions
Escalate complex issues to manager
Provides leadership in working with cross functional teams
Must be able to manage workload proficiently
Proficient with ERP system (Sage)
Proficient in MS Office programs
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in planning/procurement
