Job Description

A local award-winning construction company in Seattle is looking to add a HR Generalist to support their team!

As a HR Generalist you will be a valuable member of the team who will support the company with day-to-day employee relations, administration and being a channel between individual teams -from operations to new hires.

This is a direct hire, on-site opportunity--no weekends!

In this HR Generalist Role, you will: 

• Be primary contact for employee HR-related questions
• Assists with Onboarding, Benefit Administration and Recruiting
• Ensures positive employee relations across the organization
• Employment verifications
• Assist in the streamlining of HR processes, utilizing technical tools for maximizing efficiency and accuracy
• Ability and willingness to work closely with Payroll to ensure employees are paid accurately

You will be successful in this role if you are self-motivated, have a positive attitude and are eager to succeed.

HR Generalist Requirements: 

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an HR support role or a specialty like benefits, recruiting, etc.
• PHR or SHRM-CP is a plus
• Experience with payroll
• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
• Must be able to build relationships and collaborate with employees at all levels
• Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Positive attitude and eager to succeed
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products

Pay: 75-80k DOE
Schedule: Monday - Friday 
Benefits: Full Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K 
HR Generalist reports directly to the HR Manager.
