Logistics Operations Customer Service

Pay range: 21.00/hour
Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday
Location: Eden Prairie, MN -Onsite in Office

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our transportation operations by ensuring efficient and accurate processing of shipments and customer requests. Job Duties/Description:

  • Perform essential operational tasks to meet the transportation requirements of customers and carriers.
  • Create orders, provide shipment details, activate shipments, and manage load assignments.
  • Schedule appointments, track and trace shipments, and process events and invoices.
  • Monitor task boards and email accounts, responding promptly to customer and carrier inquiries.
  • Enter and update the database using knowledge from SOPs and experience and follow escalation procedures when needed.
  • Follow up on customer or carrier requests to ensure satisfaction, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Validate and ensure the accuracy of load data in systems according to company and customer standards.
  • Perform additional duties or responsibilities as assigned based on team and country-specific requirements.


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous logistics or customer service experience in a call center or similar environment with consistent employment history
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective communication skills, strong time management, and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Prior work experience requiring attention to detail and accuracy with excellent problem solving skills.
