Job Description

A growing manufacturer in the Elkridge, MD area is seeking a Junior Buyer to join their growing procurement team!  This is an entry level role great for individuals with a strong administrative or customer service background who has experience working with vendors.  

Direct hire opportunity, $50,000-$55,000 based upon experience.  Strong benefits package as well!  

100% in office

Responsibilities

• Review vendor quotes and service to determine best option
• Assist with identifying and sourcing new vendors
• Negotiate costs vendors to ensure best pricing
• Partner with senior buyers to ensure timelines and needs are met

Qualifications

• Administrative and/or customer service experience with a manufacturer preferred
• Experience working with vendors/suppliers preferred
• ERP experience preferred
