Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join our dynamic team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and driving growth through proactive account management strategies. You will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to develop and implement customized benefits solutions that align with their business objectives and employee needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of client accounts, maintaining strong relationships and understanding their unique needs.
  • Conduct regular meetings and reviews with clients to assess satisfaction, identify opportunities for improvement, and discuss upcoming renewals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (including Sales, Underwriting, and Operations) to develop and present comprehensive benefits proposals and solutions.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to provide proactive guidance and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support to clients on benefit plan design, enrollment processes, and employee communications.
  • Act as an advocate for clients within the organization, ensuring timely resolution of issues and effective problem-solving.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in employee benefits account management or related roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Strong understanding of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and voluntary benefits.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively present complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with benefits administration platforms is preferred.
