One of Oregon's top employers has engaged our firm in their search for a high-level Administrative Assistant to join their team on a part time basis. This position will provide administrative support to the entire team and be responsible for a wide-range of administrative duties. Requirements - What Matters Most

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Some college preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience of administrative assistant or clerical support.
  • Experience with spreadsheet and word processing software; experience with Microsoft Excel / Word preferred. Strong PC skills.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced customer service and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Knowledge of office procedures and equipment.
  • Proficient in coordinating projects and duties as assigned by the respective business line.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for answering telephone, screening calls, taking messages, and greeting customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.
  • Coordinate calendar to schedule appointments and conference calls. Ensure all required attendees are informed of meetings. Exercise judgment and discretion in handling requests for appointments and telephone calls.
  • Responsible for attending meetings, events, and other functions as applicable.
  • Prepare various requested reports and conduct research for various business lines. May be required to read and interpret loan documents in order to calculate interest, ratios, percentages, discounts, and rates. Prepare routine reports.
  • Responsible for composing, typing, reviewing, and distributing professional correspondence, memos, E-mails, and faxes. Prioritize and sorting incoming mail; preparing outgoing mail.
  • Perform in a team environment while completing individual tasks in a timely manner. May be responsible for specialized tasks or duties related to the respective business line.
  • Develop and maintain a highly organized filing system for correspondence and other records.
  • Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities -- knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.
  • Follows all company policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
  • May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.
  • Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the corporate culture in all actions and words.
  • Takes personal initiative and is a positive example for others to emulate.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
