Commercial Estimator

Location: San Diego, CA

Salary: $85,000 to $130,000 DOE

Job Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

· Quote and prepare detailed estimates for clients.

· Manage multiple projects and identify effective cost control strategies.

· Interpret and analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documents.

· Collaborate with various parties to determine accurate cost estimation.

· Negotiate bids with subcontractors and vendors to ensure competitive pricing.

· Build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and contractors.

· Utilize and streamline estimating software.

· Participate in project meetings and site visits as needed.

· Provide leadership support to the estimating department.

Qualifications:

· 5+ years of related construction estimator experience

· Experience in flooring, general construction, and/or painting industry experience.

· Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

· Valid driver's license and clean record

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, and Procore experience.

· Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
