Job Title: Assistant Property Manager

Position Overview: As an Assistant Property Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our commercial properties. Working closely with the Director you will contribute to the overall success of the portfolio by assisting in various administrative, financial, and tenant-related responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Tenant Relations:
    • Assist in responding to tenant inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
    • Coordinate communication between tenants, maintenance staff, and management.
    • Facilitate lease renewals, rent collections, and address any billing or payment issues.
  1. Lease Administration:
    • Support the preparation and execution of lease agreements and related documents.
    • Maintain accurate lease files and records, ensuring compliance with lease terms.
    • Track lease expirations and proactively work on lease renewal strategies.
  1. Financial Management:
    • Assist in budget preparation and financial reporting for assigned properties.
    • Monitor and reconcile tenant accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments.
    • Collaborate with accounting to address any discrepancies and ensure financial integrity.
  1. Property Maintenance:
    • Coordinate routine property inspections and address maintenance issues promptly.
    • Work with vendors and contractors to obtain quotes, oversee repairs, and ensure quality.
    • Assist in the implementation of preventative maintenance programs.
  1. Administrative Support:
    • Maintain organized and up-to-date property management files and documentation.
    • Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials as needed for management.
    • Assist in the coordination of meetings, appointments, and events related to property management.
  1. Risk Management:
    • Support compliance with local regulations and ensure adherence to company policies.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of safety and emergency procedures.
    • Work with insurance providers to address property-related coverage and claims.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field (preferred).
  • Must have previous experience in commercial property management.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate leases and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
