Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and professional responses to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
  • Attentively listen to customer needs and identify suitable solutions.
  • Manage the processing of new memberships, renewals, product orders, and subscriptions.
  • Conduct regular outreach to members for renewal reminders.
  • Maintain accurate account information and assist members with queries regarding memberships, events, publications, and products.
  • Handle registrations, transfers, payments, and refunds, issuing confirmation receipts and invoices as needed.
  • Prepare event badges, organize data archives, and follow up on outstanding invoices.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial records and assist with accounts payable tasks.
  • Assist the receptionist in managing the front desk, welcoming visitors, and directing calls.
  • Occasionally travel locally to represent the organization and department at events.


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a basic understanding of Excel.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in customer service or a related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently address inquiries and requests.
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Post-secondary education is preferred.

  • Pay range: $21-24/hr.
  • Schedule: M-F 8:30a-5p
  • Location: Onsite
  • Type: Temp-to-hire
