Job Description

As our Rental Coordinator/Supervisor, you'll be at the forefront of our rental operations, ensuring seamless coordination and administration once rental proposals are finalized by our Rental Sales Team. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer support throughout the rental process, managing administrative tasks, and overseeing the daily assignments of our Rental Technicians to meet customer demands. Working closely with our Rental Sales Executives and Director of Rental, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining operational excellence and delivering top-notch customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring their satisfaction through responsive and supportive interactions.
  • Prepare rental agreements and coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of rental technicians.
  • Facilitate equipment deliveries and pickups, track rental services, repairs, and fueling, and provide timely updates on equipment availability.
  • Maintain accurate records for customers, vendors, and equipment, including processing invoices and billing.
  • Manage equipment reservations and maintain inventory records, including cable inventory reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable team on customer collections when necessary.
  • Act as an Administrative On-call representative for the Rental team on a rotating basis during after-hours and weekends.
  • If hired as a supervisor, oversee the performance of Rental Technicians and ensure smooth operations within the team.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3 years of rental equipment and/or electrical contractor experience
  • 2 years of administrative experience.
  • Strong customer relations skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in written communication, especially in email correspondence.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make critical decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, etc.) and familiarity with rental management software (e.g., Great Plains, Winsoft) and CRM systems (e.g., Sales Force) preferred.
